The agreement between you and LTC.

Early Access. LTC is in Early Access. It is free, it is incomplete, and it will miss important terms. Nothing here is legal advice and LTC is not a substitute for a qualified adviser: it tells you what a document appears to say and shows you the words it relied on, and every decision remains yours.

What LTC does

LTC reads published agreements and consent requests and tells you what they say. It is informational and it is not legal advice. For a decision that matters, read the agreement itself or ask someone qualified.

LTC is not complete. It knows a limited set of companies, and it finds most — not all — of what a careful reader would. When it does not know something it says so rather than guessing.

What LTC will not do

• It will never press a button on a website for you.
• It will never send the contents of the pages you visit, your browsing history, form fields, passwords or payment details anywhere.
• It will never sell your personal information, and it has no advertising business.
• It will not analyse a page unless a consent moment is actually happening on it.

Your account

You can close your account at any time from Settings, and closing it deletes your Consent Vault. You can export everything LTC holds about you first, in a machine-readable format.

LTC may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to break the law. If that happens, we will tell you why.

Payment

LTC Free costs nothing and always will. LTC+ is a subscription. It renews until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from Subscription — one page, one button, no telephone call and no retention offer. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.

If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Changing these terms

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you before the change takes effect and you will be able to close your account without penalty. Continuing to use LTC after that is how you accept the change.

Liability

LTC is informational. If you rely on it instead of reading an agreement and something goes wrong, that is a risk you are taking. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Disputes

There is no arbitration clause and no class action waiver. If we cannot resolve something between us, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, and if you live elsewhere in the UK or the EEA you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own country.

What Early Access means, specifically

• It will miss things. LTC reads a limited set of categories, on a limited set of companies, in a limited set of languages. Where it cannot establish enough it says so rather than reassuring you.
• Nobody independent has measured how accurate it is. Every accuracy figure LTC has, LTC produced about itself. The programme to have independent reviewers check it is built and has not run. LTC will not quote a number until it has one.
• It may be interrupted or withdrawn. There is no availability commitment during Early Access and features may change or disappear.
• It is free. No payment details are collected, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.
• You are still the decision-maker. LTC never accepts, declines, allows or subscribes on your behalf, and nothing it shows you transfers responsibility for the decision away from you.

Acceptable use

Use LTC to understand agreements. Do not use it to attack the service or the sites you visit: no attempt to circumvent rate limits, no automated bulk submission, no use of the check endpoint as a general fetching or analysis proxy, and no attempt to make LTC retrieve anything from a network you do not control.

What belongs to whom

LTC’s software, taxonomy and wording are ours. Documents LTC quotes belong to whoever wrote them and are quoted verbatim so you can check them. Text you paste into the check page stays yours; LTC analyses it and discards it, and claims no rights over it.

Ending it

Uninstall the extension, or delete your account from your privacy page. Either takes effect immediately. We may end your access if you use LTC to attack the service, and we will say why.

Liability

LTC is provided as-is during Early Access. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a decision you made after reading an LTC finding — and the reason is not a disclaimer but the design: LTC shows you the passage so that the judgement stays yours. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms have not been reviewed by a qualified legal practitioner. The jurisdiction and governing-law clauses are deliberately absent rather than guessed, because a governing law asserted by a product that has not incorporated anywhere would be decoration.
